Healthy Crackers

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Organic sprouted pumpkin seeds
  • 1/3 cup Sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup Whole flaxseeds
  • 1/3 cup of Sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup Chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp Psyllium husk
  • 1.5 cups of boiling water
  • 1tsp salt
  • Avocado oil

METHOD

  1. Set the oven temperature to 180 degrees Celsius to preheat.
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and drizzle some avocado oil on it. Use a brush to spread the oil evenly over the paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Add boiling water and stir until everything is thoroughly mixed.
  4. Evenly distribute the mixture onto the prepared baking paper, aiming for a thin layer. Drizzle a bit more avocado oil on top and spread it with a brush.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the crackers turn golden and crispy. Allow them to cool for an hour before breaking them apart.
  6. Store the crackers in an airtight container.
  7. Use the crackers as a dipper or as a base for loaded snacks for a tasty brunch.
